Hello Philip. My gr gr gr grandpa was John Thomas Fisher born 1823 Barren, Kentucky. Your Sarah Jane Fisher looked familiar to me. Not only did John Thomas Fisher have a daughter named Sara( my gr gr grandma born in MO.), he also had a sister named Sarah Jane Fisher. I do not know if this sister is the same Sarah as yours since the birthdate I have for her is 1823 Barren, Kentucky. But you could still check it out. Other siblings names are Rebecca, Woodford, George, Oliver, Henry, James, Mary, and Elizabeth. Their Father was James William Fisher Born 1783 Halifax, Virginia- Died Aug 1856 Barren, Kentucky. Their Mother was Sally Sarah Bush Born 1783 Lunenberg,, Virginia- Died 1835 Barren, Kentucky. James'(B.1783) Parents were John Fisher Born 06 Feb 1758 Lunenberg, Vir.- Died 03 Mar 1843 Barren, Kentucky AND Anne McGinnis John's(B.1758) Parents were William Fisher Born 1730 Vir.- Died 1794 Halifax, Vir.
