Hi Jan, Catarina was the granddaughter of John and Selia Fikes. I have quite a bit on this family. On Philip Riley, I have him born in Ireland about 1821. He was in B Company, 1st Reg.Michigan Infantry in the Civil War. Children of Catarina and Philip: Lucretia (b. abt. 1846 Royalton, married 11 Aug. 1862,Benjamin Green) George William (b. abt. 1848, married Juliette Farr, 22 May 1868) Melissa (b. abt. 1850, married Henry Burkett, 21 Feb. 1869 Royalton) John (b. abt. 1852) Philip (b. abt. 1860) I have Henry Burkett as working in a sawmill in the 1880 census. His parents are listed as born in Pennsylvania. I have Lucretia's and Geor. Wm.'s children, but not Melissa and Henry's.Would appreciate this. Let me know if you wish any more information on the Fikes. I am glad to share.
