Does anyone have info on Princess Anne County VA Ferrells? My gg grandfather was William Ferrell who married Mary/Martha Alice Fentress. On the 1880 census, he, as well as his father are shown as born in NC. I'm pretty sure that the parents of William (according to 1850 census) are William Sr. and Abagail, though that census shows William Sr. born in VA. The 1860 census again shows him (William Sr.) as born in NC. Does anyone know the parentage of William Sr. or Abagail his wife? Or where in NC they came from? Thanks for any help! Dawn Hayman Curl
