I've not been able to find anything about Thomas A. Faunce in Ontario County, N.Y. I may try to find the Faunce genealogy that's referred to in other parts of this forum and see if there are clues in it (unless you got your information from there - can you let me know?). To me, the name coincidence that's the subject of this posting and the closeness of the Codding and Taylor families in Bristol (Ontario County)point with near certainty to a family relationship.
