teresa , you appear to have some good sources. id like to ask your help. my g-g-grandfather was charles b. ewers, born 1840 or 1848. married in harpersfield oh in 1873 to alma blanchard of that area, moved to erie, pa. and died there in 1921. he had 2 sons, walter henry, born ohio, and fred (or frank)charles, born erie-my g-grandfather.i am unable to find where charles was born and lived prior to 1873. his death certificate states his father was born in england, but the fathers name is illegible and no mothers name listed. i appreciate any help you can give me. thanks, keith ewer
