Village Genealogical Society invites you to attend their Spring Family History Workshop by George G. Morgan, a popular internationally recognized genealogical expert and author, on Saturday, March 17. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. Workshop hours will be 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
He will present "Genealogical Research on the Internet" with topics to include
1. Understanding the Types of Materials on the Internet
2. Search Strategies for the Internet
3. The Wealth of Databases [This will include Ancestry.com, HeritageQuest, FamilySearch, and some overseas databases]
4. Locating and Working with Foreign Internet Resources
All interested in family history are urged to attend. Registration for this workshop is $25 postmarked by February 12, 2007; $30 postmarked after February 12. Checks should be made payable to VGS Workshop and mailed to VGS, 5 Lindsay Place, Hot Springs Village AR 71909. Attendees are encouraged to bring their lunch. Soft drinks and coffee will be provided.
