My Scotts are from Penn. in 1780's. I do have a Scott line from KY. that married into the Tevis family that then married into these Scotts. Phebe b.1798 & Rebecca b.1800, daughters of Edward Scott of North Carolina. This Edward came from the Tevis family on the web. The reason I am beliveing what they found is that there is a DeVoss in their lines and DeVoss is a family name that has been used over and over in my Scott line, and when Rebecca died she had a daughter named Ann that was already dead, which my Ann was. Both families seem to endup in the same place at the same time. What time period is you Thomas Scott? Have you ran across a Edward in your research?
