I was named after my grandmother, Bruna Escamilla. I have no idea who my grandmother's family was or is. All I know is that her maiden name was Gonzalez and she was married to Anselmo Escamilla. They had seven or eight children: 1. Herminia 2. Ofelia 3. Mary 4. Frances 5. Janie 6. Rito 7. Estevan (my father) and 8. Anselmo Jr. I'm not sure if I've confused a name and it is actually just one person. They lived and farmed land in South Texas in Cameron County. A town name Rio Hondo. I'm not sure if there is any relation, or just a coincidence. Would like to know more.
