As far as I know, this is not my Erwin line. I did not find James B. A. Erwin in the 1880 census, but did find a little information. Perhaps you have already discovered the following website. It is the Missouri State Archives Death Certificates 1910-1957. I did not find James or his wife. Perhaps they either died out of Missouri, or died after this time period. http://www.sos.mo.gov/archives/resources/deathcertificates/ However, in looking at Erwin entries for Jasper County I found the death certificate for Ruby Edith Erwin, 6 year old daughter of James and Mary Edith Erwin. She died 13 Oct 1910 in Jasper County. Her father’s name is listed as JBA Erwin, the informant for the information. His birth place is shown as Polk County MO.
