Our family was also involved in the lawsuit of the 1930's. My mom researched the court case which took her to Astoria on the border or Washington and Oregon. I have heard a few details that I have not seen in the follow up information. My mom has a copy of the newspaper report of the trial. Of course you know: we lost. "Sloth" was reported as the reason. If the Emericks were too lazy to protest earlier, then they were guilty of Sloth. I look forward to hearing about how I can purchase your book.
