Here's my Ellingsen line. I'm listing the patronymic naming convention but suspect they used Ellingsen/Ellingson in this country. Torger Ellingsen b. Sept. 9, 1830 Lier, Buskerud, Norway married Hannah Nilsdatter b. November 1836 Drammen, Buskerud Norway. Children: Nils Martinius Torgersen b. 1858 Drammen Elling Torgersen b. 1860 Drammen Hans Torval Torgersen b. 1862 Drammen Mathias Torgersen b. 1864 Drammen Dorthea Ellingson b. Sept. 17, 1866 Drammen (my great grandmother) I also think there were 2 additional children, Emil Ellingson and Thrine Ellingson. These two names are listed as witnesses to my grandfather's christening in 1891, Clermont, IA.
