My great grandfather was Ludwig (Louis) Egger, b.1863 in Zillerthal, Austria. He immigrated to the US (Pittsburgh, PA) with his mother Victoria Egger around 1878. His father was Kajetan Kratzer. Victoria returned to Austria and married Kratzer. Victoria's father was Mathias Egger, her mother was Wallburg Lackner.
