Looking for informatin on a Catherine Phebe [or Phebe Catherine] Edison b. 1821 d. 16 Sept. 1886 m. September 1841 Peter S. (Sharp?) Van Houten at the Village Church of Chatham [now Ogden Memorial], Chatham, NJ. Phebe Catherine used "Catherine" as her name. Joined the Village Church of Chatham [Presbyterian] in 1846. Later she and her husband joined the Methodist Episcopal church in Madison, NJ and finally the Madison Presbyterian Church, Madison, NJ. Two children baptized at the Village Church in Chatham: Abby Jane and William Henry Van Houten. Is Catherine Phebe Edison the daughter of Abraham Edison listed in the 1840 Census in Morris County, NJ? Is Abraham Edison related to the Edison family in Essex County, NJ?
