James Elias Eagles 1859-? Mary Elizabeth Espy 29 Jul 1869- 1 Nov 1956 James Elias Eagle was born in Nova Scotia to John Eagles Jr. Mary Elizabeth Espy was born in North Shenango, Crawford, Pennsylvania. She was a bare-back horse rider in a circus and her husband, James Elias Eagles, died as a result of injuries in a circus train accident. I am trying to find out about the Espy/Eagles circus career and about the accident that killed her husband. When did he die? They were part of the Robinson Circus at one point, and Eagles died in Cincinatti.
