Henry EEDS m Hannah Higgs of Leckhampstead, Berks., on 29/1/1734, in Bradfield, Berks. I have burials in Chieveley, Berks., for 2 Henrys on 1/10/1753 (as EEDDS)& 1/3/1806, and a Hannah (EADS) on 15/6/1788. I am wondering if they could be the parents of John EADES 1744- 1834 of Peasemore (near Leckhampstead), m Mary HARPER in abt 1778, had Henry b 1779 in Leckhampstead, chr Brightwalton. The other Chieveley Henry burial could be John's brother. Leckhampstead did not have a church at that time, and bodies were carried across the fields to Chieveley for burial. Please does anyone have any further info on Henry EADES, b abt or before 1715, or know of any EADES links with Bradfield, or have any connection with EADES of the Peasemore/ (Hillgreen,) Leckhampstead/ Brightwalton/ Chaddleworth/ Chieveley areas? Many thanks. Jay |
