Hi Gisele, Thank you for this. Yes, as it turns out, we are part of the Dupuy legacy. I have a letter dated 1910 that talks about Bartholmew Dupuy as an ancestor, but at the time I posted my original message, I was not able to link Jesse directly to Bartholemew. However, I've spent extensive time over my December vacation researching and was able to find the missing generations. Question for you: Do you, by chance, know where Velours Mansion was located (where Bartholomew was said to have been married)? I've not been able to locate it. Is this a fanciful story or did Velours actually exist? Thanks, Bill |
