I would like to contact any of the descendants of the Dunn family that founded Dunn's Creek on the Cape Fear River NC in 1735. Richard, Robert, John Dunn in Bladen Co (later Cumberland Co) NC. John, Joseph, Bartholomew, Benjamin, Hezekiah, Richard, Ruth (wife of Joseph Dunn), Thomas, William Dunn in Cumberland Co (later Moore Co) NC. John, Richard, Hezekiah, William, Colin, Barnaby, Barna, Barnos Dunn in Anson and Cumberland Co (later Moore and Montgomery Co) NC.

The only early data I have been able to find for this family are land records and cemetery records. These suggest but do not prove this lineage:

...2. John Dun/Dunn, blacksmith, d. bef 1800, ......m. Mary
......3. Richard Dunn, miller, b. bef. 1755, .........m. Deborah.
.........4. William Dunn, b. abt 1795, m. ............Christian Martin
.........4. Colin Dunn, b. abt 1800
......3. Bartholomew Dunn
......3. Joseph Dunn
......3. Hezekiah Dunn
......3. Samuel Dunn
......3. Thomas Dunn
......3. William Dunn
...2. Robert Dun/Dunn
...2. Joseph Dunn
...2. Benjamin Dunn
...2. Bartholomew Dunn
