I have the info you need on your Dunman line. As a matter of fact, I've aleady got you in my family tree from the past few weeks of work. Our common ancestors are John Terry Dunman, son of James Taylor Dunman and Rachel Wallis, and Maude R. Smith Dunman Adams. I'm the granddaughter of Nell Ople Dunman West, and you are descended from Nell's younger brother, Terry. They also had a half sister, Jimmie Ella Dunman, from a prior marriage of John Terry Dunman, who married Quinley LaFour of Chambers County. John Terry Dunman died in 1910 and left Maude a widow and pregnant with Terry Dunman. For some unknown reason, Maude was left penniless and without help from the presumably wealthy Dunman's and Wallis', and for many years they barely survived.
