I am looking for the upline of Clarence Irl DuClos. His father was Eugine (or Eugene) I believe. Clarence Irl was born 26 Aug 1892 in Prairie Du Rocher, IL. He married Catherine Louvier(b. 1893), had three children Loretta(b.1911), Fern(b. 1916) and Virginia(b.1919) . He then married Adeline(Adelyn)Flotte(b. 29 May 1898 d. 3 jul 1961) and had my grandpa Clarence George DuClos(8 Jan 1931). If anyone has connections from there on up. I am a member of Ancestry.com and have searched all of the census, ssn and even found Clarence Irl's draft card from WWI. My mom said that Eugine (possibly William Eugine) was married 2 or 3 times. His first 2 wives were hit by trains. Darn the luck. I would like to connect myself back to 1772 if at all possible. Any idea of a place to get free birth certifiates or marriage certificats of ancestors that are now deceased?
