Jim - my ancestor Marie Louise Drouet de Richardville married Michel Brouillette Jr. in 1806. What is most interesting to me is that your query was regarding the Miami Indians. Michel Brouillette was a fur trader who also had a relationship with an indian "wife" and sired a son by the name of Jean Baptiste Brouillette who became a Miami Indian chief.
