I just recently discovered your reply to my email from about a year ago. As I said, my greatgrandfather's name was Franklin James Dreis born 1875 and his wife's name was Ida. They had two children, Clifford and Roman, who were born in Berthold, North Dakota, and moved to Saskatchewan Canada when my grandfather was around 6 years old or so. I have also had a reply to my posting from Judy Dreis who lives in the Seattle area. Her grandfather, Mathias Dreis, was Frank's older brother. When she visited her grandmother in North Dakota, she said they would include a trip to Weyburn, Saskatchewan, where they would visit the Dreis relatives. Also, she said Frank and Mathias' parents were Johannes and Christine Dreis and they came from Muhlenbach area of Germany (Prussia at the time). It sounds like your grandmother is a sister to them, although I really don't know what they had for siblings. I presently live in Weyburn. Hope to hear from you. Dianna Dreis Endicott
