I'm looking for information on John Doyle b. 1800 Ireland. The earliest possible record I have for him is the 1840 census with a residence of Chittenden Vermont. The 1850 census lists the other family members, his wife Ellen (b. 1800, Ireland), children: John, Margaret, Bridget, Richard, Daniel, Elizabeth (b. 1845, Vermont), and Thomas. Elizabeth is my GGrandmother(4). In the 1860 census the family is listed as Doyl, and there is no listing for John. Not sure what happened, as I have not been able to verify date of death with documentation. Any information will be greatly appreciated.
