Elinor ... thanks for your response and I apologize about the delay in answering but the holidays and all .... You certainly have more info than I have and some of it is different. However, I have only begun research on this line and have had little time to spend at the library. I have the same info regarding her birth as you but I have just a year of death - 1847. Suspect that you are correct or at the very least a lot closer than I am. I have nothing on her ancestry. Her son, John Dorn WASSON, b 16 Oct 1792 in Princetown, Schnectady, NY married in 1817 to Elizabeth SHANNON. (Did he have any siblings?) Their daughter - Delana B WASSON was born in 1830 and married John B PETTIT - great grandfather of my first husband. I have quite a bit of information on their descendants, if you are interested. I would certainly be interested to leard more about the DORN lineage. ..... SHRYLL
