|Subject:||Ancestry composition on the chromosome view|

I just received the results from the DNA test I took through 23andMe. The section titled "Ancestry Composition" gives the option of viewing the results in the "chromosome view" which is a bar graph with horizontal lines numbered 1 to 23 and color-coordinated to the percentages of ancestral composition. In my case, line/chromosome 3 shows 0.3% East Asian. What is the significance to the individual lines (or chromosomes)?
