To avoid confusing future searchers in this forum, Thomas Digges was not the son of Gov. Edward Digges. He was the son of Col. Edward Digges, who was the son of Cole Digges, who was the son of Dudley Digges, who WAS the son of Gov. Edward Digges. Although it's obvious from the dates that the Thomas Digges being talked about could not have been the son of Gov. Edward Digges, sometimes people just see the names they're looking for and don't notice the other details. Leads to a lot of confusion, especially when the same names recur from generation to generation. James
