My husband's grandmother was a Diggs, and I met one of his cousins back in 1961. I have been trying to trace her whereabouts now. She had portraits of some of the family. She was unmarried and she said she was going to will the portraits to another Diggs cousin. Her name was Mary Miller and she was the daughter of the artist Maxwell Miller who married Mary Diggs. I see from looking at the census that she was born in 1913, so she's probably died now. She lived in the Marylander Apartments with her mother in 1961. Does anyone have any information on her or the portraits, which were of the Barrington family.
