PLEASANT was the son of WILLIAM DIGGS (a Quaker)Born 1724/34 in Hanover Co, VA Died c.1785 Anson Co, NC and wife JUDITH HALEY. WILLIAM was the son of MARSHALL DEGGE (b.c.1680 VA-d.Anson Co, NC) and wife SARAH. MARSHALL was the son of JOHN DEGGE Born c. 1645 England-Died 1726 Middlesex Co, VA. To Middlesex Co, VA from from Staffordshire, England in 1674.
