I have a thirteen page letter dated 1-24-1937 return address is: C.E.Dickey 3815 Oakland Ave. Dallas,Texas The letter is addressed to: Mr. G.R. Ponder Buffalo, South Carolina Dear Brother, This is Sunday as Robert Wesley is gone to church. I decided to stay home as this earth this morning is covered with snow, sleet & ice. The letter ends, Much love your sister Emma. Robert Wesley is a son, as this is stated in the letter. Also, Robert Wesley is about to get married. Emma is a widower trying to keep the farm going. (Mr. G.R.Ponder is my Great-Grandfather) George Ransom Ponder Born Dec. 29, 1860 Died Sept. 12, 1943 (The above info document from funeral register). Does anyone have any info on C.E.Dickey?
