I am looking for pre-emigration information on Elizabeth Diamond who emigrated to Brisbane on the "Devon" in 1879 at age 11. Her parents William and Sarah (nee Wylie) came out to Australia also on the "Isles of the South" in 1875. Elizabeth married Alfred Thomas Baker in Australia. The Diamonds were apparently from Ireland, but I have no information at all about where they came from in Ireland. Would appreciate any information very much.
