My Mary DESMOND (1860-1953)was the daughter of Michael DESMOND and Mary BRODERICK. She was born, married, and died in Portland, Middlesex, CT. On 16 May 1883 she married David McAULIFFE or McAULLIFFE, also born CT. They had 6 children born between 1885 and 1911. They are the ancestors of most of the McAULIFFEs in Portland CT. Anybody else researching this BRODERICK/DESMOND/McAULIFFE line? Jim tombtome@aol.com
