I am looking for information on my great grandfather - apparently he was originally from Cork, I think he was destined for the priesthood but joined the navy instead and was then a coastguard in Beachy Head, where my grandmother laura eleanor desmond was born in 1887. His wife was laura maria, formerly Whiter. Any help would be greatly appreciated Many thanks Jean Healy
