Thanks so much for your reply. I did have the census record and that is the correct Maren. This is my first time to use this. Maybe if you copy this link
https://www.box.com/s/mv5fg1dfem6ry52drzjb into your browser it will open. That's what I needed to do to open the link. It is supposed to be open access. I tried to copy the image here but couldn't figure out how to do it. It's a *.tif image which I copied into word. It wouldn't copy here.

I'm trying to read the original parish record for Maren which I believe may be the record found on the Danish archives online at www.sa.dk/ao/ for Maren Thomasdatter, 31? Aug? 1766, Elling,Hjorring,Denmark, Opslag 18(I think this is page 28 of the register), # 25. I know that this link is giving a warning now for newer browsers, probably because it uses Java. I've never had a problem using it. The record is probably on the Salt Lake family history library film #48998 which they recommend searching online at http://www.arkivalieronline.dk/. This is the same site I listed above.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you can tell how to copy the image here, or transfer the information another way that would also be appreciated. Thanks for any help you can offer.
