Karen, I am also interested in Jesse Dean. I am trying to confirm that his son Levi is my grandfathers' great grandfather. My grandfather is Johnnie A. Dean from Red River County, TX. His father was named Alfard (sp) L. Dean, born 1877. That is all I know for sure. It gets complicated because there were 2-3 unrelated Dean families in the Detroit, TX area during the 1800s. As for your question, like you the only thing I have found for Jesse's first wife so far is the first name of Nancy.
