Hi Everyon...I hope someone can help me. I have been working on my family genealogy for 20 + years and I am stuck. I can trace my line back to a Henry Deacon who was born in 1600 in England. His son, George Deacon was born in 1620/21 in England and his grandson (Georges's son) was born in 1642. This George (1642) came to the United States in the 1670s on the ship The Willing Mind. George died in 1725 after working primarily as a surveyor in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. George (1642) was a very important man at the time and held several important offices. He was a Quaker, married several times, and is the first ancestor that I have a lot of information on. Can anyone help me trace his ancestry. I know nothing about his father or his grandfather except their names. I will be happy to share whatever information I have. Hope to hear from someone soon. Carol
