In the 1788-1794 Sussex County Probate records of Levin Wailes (Wails), the estate pays a court fee in the matter of WAILS VS. HOUSTON & VAUGHAN.
I emailed the Delware Archives to see if I could get a copy of the filings, but they said "we would need to know the county, the court the case was heard in, the term of the court and a case number. We do not have full indexes for all of the different courts".
The case was undoubtedly in Sussex County. Does any one know how to find "the court the case was heard in, the term of the court and a case number"?
Thank you for any guidance. Andrew Huston
