Searching for parents, grandparents of Eleanor Cannon who used Ellen as her name. She married Samuel Sherwood possibly in Sussex Co., Del. She and Samuel are buried at Harrington in Hollywood Cemetery. Their daughter Olevia Sherwood was my great grandmother. She married George Albert Messick, Sr. and they lived in Sussex Co., DE. Any Cannon researchers have a Ellen Sherwood b. about 1830 in their line? In one census it is stated Maryland was her birth place, but all census records after that state Delaware as her birth place.
