Karen: I know this cemetery and family buried there: John Hosea III (1792-1852) wife, Nancy T. Jefferson, and two sons, Benj. and Wlm., maybe others since the property belonged to Hosea family for years. The Matthew Hosea you mentioned was a son of Arthur Hosea. Shadrick Short Hosea was the son of this Matthew Hosea and Rhoda Short. The father of the John Hosea (III), the one buried in this cemetery, was John Hosea Junior. He and Arthur Hosea were brothers. Their father was John Hosea Senior. This senior John Hosea of Sussex wrote his will in 1792; proved 1796. Will be happy to share further. Regards, Mary
