I am looking for the correct information on my great grandparents, Joseph Owens and Samantha Dawson of Joseph's Mills, Tyler West Virginia. He worked in the oil fields in Tyler at the time of my grandmother's birth--Ida Elvira Owens, born August 10, 1897. Joseph Owens was listed as 61 years old (born around 1836), Samantha Dawson (maiden name) was listed as 21 years old on Ida Elvira's birth certificate dated 1897, Tyler WV. (I have downloaded the scan of original copy)-That would make Samantha Dawson born around 1876. The information I have located on the Robert L.Owens family tree is incorrect.
