Hi Ron, I am the great-granddaughter of George Alexander Douglas. My grandmother was Edith Douglas & her siblings were (to my knowledge) Gladys, Arthur, Fred, Percy & there could have been a George. George was born in Canada, but I haven't been able to find out the exact date or place yet. He was married to Alice Maria Adams in 1887 & he was indeed a Surveyor in Cyprus. My grandparents were married there before emigrating to Australia. I know that some of George's children stayed on in Cyprus & married into the Cypriot community & are still there. Haven't heard of a Kenneth being a brother of my grandmother. I will try to question an elderly aunt of mine. Hope this information helps a little. Let me know if I can help further. Regards Lorraine.
