I am researching my 4th great grandfather, William KELLOGG, who served druing the Revolutionary War in Capt. Morris' Company of the 2d Ct. Regt of Foot (Col. Heman Swift).

In Timothy Hopkins, The Kelloggs in the Old and New Worlds, (3 vols. 1903), Vol. II, pg 105, a footnote at the bottom of the page reports that:

"Judge Frederick Kellogg of Conrwall, Conn, has the muster roll of Gen. Swift's Regt. in which William is described: Height 5 feet 6 inches; hair brown, complexion dark, Josiah aged 10, enlisted as fifer, and Solomon, aged 7, as drummer."

Has anyone in their research determined if the noted muster roll has survived and been handed down in a family line, or deposited in a historical collection?

I would be extremely interested in seeking a Xerox copy if it is available. I will of course be happy to pay all copy and mailing charges.

Thanks,
