Frances married Ephriam Crockett Penley, a Maine veteran of Civil War service and resided in Hinds and Warren counties in Missippi. After her hurband's death in 1919 she lived for a while in Vicksburg, then moved to Memphis, TN to live with a daughter, Sadie Alice Middleton. I can't find a record of her burial place in Tennessee. She could have been buried as Frances or Fannie Middleton but more likely as Frances M. Penley. She probably died during the 1920s. I am still searching for her birthplace in Alabama where, purportedly, she was born during the 1840s. Jim Wilson
