Chris, I have been researching the Crowders of Rockingham Co., NC for a number of years and am excited to finally see someone else interested in them! I believe my line attaches to this family, though I don't have any documented proof. I have recently been in contact with a descendent of William H. Crowder, a 1/2 brother to your Pleasant D. Crowder. He has agreed to participate in the Crowder DNA project (which my dad is also a participant in) to see if there is a match between our lines, but we won't have the results for a couple of months yet.
