Crouse b. Oct. 4th, 1805 Avon, Livingston Co., NY. His wife was Mary N. Hovey b. 1812 Lima, Livingston Co., NY. They were married in 1832 and she died Oct. 16th, 1869. Four children: 1.James H. Crouse b. Feb. 9th, 1834 2.Sarah J. Crouse b. Feb. 3rd, 1836 3.Ann A. Crouse b. June 12th, 1838 4.Henry Crouse b. Oct. 15th, 1841 d. 1845. **Maybe related to George Crouse, b. 1779.
