Attention Thos. Crockett researchers: I've been plodding along here. A Crockett cousin sent me a 'Sheriffs List' from 1830, Gibson Co. TN. Guess whose on the list? None other than Thos. Crockett. These are 'inhabitants of Gibson Co. in 1830. So if Davey Crocketts nephew, Thomas, did a land deal for him in 1832, Thos. was there.(tnroots.com/tngibson/sheriffList/sheriff-2nd.txt) Since I haven't been able to find out who Thos. Crocketts parents were, the search for the day has been, what about his land, etc...? What about his wife, Eliza Warren? Davids brother, Nathan,according to Joy Bland of the 'Crockett Cousins website, married into the Warrens, and my Thos. inlaws have a Nathan. Were the Daniel Warren family in TN as well as MS? Why was Davey Crockett in MS before going to the Alamo? Thos. owned lots of land there. Any feedback? Thos. also bought items from Pattersons estate sale (Daveys father-in-law). Our Thos.
