Robert - thank you for your message.I found 11 spellings for Shimach and your spelling was one of them. Michael(also shown as Mike) was born 1869 and Josephine (Josie) was born 1875/76. Also have 5 spellings for Peruschak. Did not find Michael in census, only in Aberdeen City Directories from 1912-1917. Josephine Simach, widow, in 1920 census in Los Angeles Co.,with 4 Simach children and nephew Andrew Filipovich, fisherman. In 1928 and 1929 Andrew and Josephine Filipovich in Tacoma City Directories. In 1930 Tacoma census Josephine Filopvich, widow, with 3 of the children.
I did notice these surnames in Ohio & New York.
Andro's intention papers gives Sosak, Austria (typed) as birth place, petition birth place (hand written) looks like Rosak, Austria. Census records give Croatia country of birthplace.
