9 Sept. 2002 Seeking info on Annie Crinnion Bronx , N.Y. Friends of the Daniel McDonnell Family of County Meath. My grandfather, Arthur McDonnell & his brothers, James and Daniel came from Ireland and as the story goes "went to Annie Crinnion in New York" I believe them to have been friends and neighbors in Ireland. Arthur McDonnell and his sister Alice were baptized in the Catholic Church in Stamullen, Co Meath, Ireland. Parents Daniel McDonnell(McDaniel)father, and mother Bridget Halpin. Any information will be welcome. Ronnie Bryan Shipley - There could also be a County Louth connection.
