Rosemary... Please go to this site "Who's Who in New York City." It lists a "WILLIAM ARMSTRONG, lawyer, as being the son of JOSEPH ARMSTRONG, one of the famous "six hundred at the Battle of Balaklava in the Crimean War. It doesn't say anything about a John Armstrong. Unless perhaps his name was John Joseph Armstrong?
