Hi John, I'm helping my brother-in-law with some research on the Cress name. Do you have any information on what part of Flordia the Cress Family was from? The line i'm trying to trace is a Hugh Cress (died in the 1950s), according to census, 1920 TN, he was born in Florida. Also, my brother-in-law was told as a kid by his grandmother that his ancestors were Indian, he believes Seminole. Thanks, DeAnna Lay
