I'm looking for information on my relative, John Martin Cox of Surry, North Carolina, Born March 1821. The 1880 Surry Cnty, NC Census shows John's parents were both born in Virginia. John, also listed as J. Martin Cox or J.M. Cox married Martha Ann Perkins b. 6 Jun 1835 Guilford Cnty, NC. Children; James Wm. b. 23 Nov 1853 m. Margaret Ellen Midkiff Henry Franklin b. 27 Mar 1860 Amanda Florence b. 12 May 1862 Any information back on the Cox lineage would be great. Thanks, Craig
