Not my family just sharing information THE REV. RALPH COTTIER Tulsa, Okla. Published on 04/06/2002 The Rev. Ralph Joy Cottier, 82, of Tulsa, Okla., died of a heart attack there March 29. The body was cremated, and memorial services were held April 1 at First Presbyterian Church in Tulsa. The Rev. Cottier was born in Mound City, Mo., and had lived in Mitchell, Ind., Kansas City, Mo., St. Paul, Minn., Des Moines and other locations as a Presbyterian minister before retiring. He had lived in Tulsa for two years. He had served as pastor of Park Avenue Presbyterian Church in Des Moines for 13 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, a past moderator of two Presbyteries, a commissioner of General Assembly and a director of the Oklahoma and Iowa Council of Churches. He was an accomplished woodworker and gardener. He is survived by his wife, Betty; three daughters, Linda Wade and Anita Kabrick, both of Tulsa, and Rachel Noon of Bartlesville, Okla.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church in Rogers, Ark., or Habitat for Humanity. |
